What you'll learn
The themes below take you from "I use ChatGPT" to building your own working AI tools — and understanding how it all fits together. No coding. You go through them at your own pace, with the community and live group calls whenever you want help. Themes and depth flex to fit the people in the room.
What you need
A computer (Mac, Windows, or Linux) with a web browser and internet — that's it. Nothing to install, no coding experience. Everything runs in your browser, and we help you set up the free accounts (like Claude and ChatGPT). Any optional AI subscriptions or pay-as-you-go usage are separate — and we’ll teach you how to use free tiers and set spending limits.
Who it's for
You’re curious about AI and want to build real, reusable things — without becoming a programmer. If you have an idea, we’ll help you pressure-test it. If you don’t, you’ll generate a few worth pursuing.
How you'll learn
No rigid schedule to fall behind on. You work through practical resources at your own pace, share what you're building in the community, and drop into live group calls to go deep and get unstuck. You come back to each theme having actually built something — not having forgotten the last one. Want a hand on your specific project? That's what the group and coaching options are for.
The AI landscape — models, providers & your options
The foundation. In plain English: what an LLM actually is, and the different ways you interact with one — chat, API, and agents. We tour the major providers (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini), then the big "aha": how a router like OpenRouter puts dozens of models in one place, so you can see the whole market, compare answers, and control cost. Finally, where agent tools like Manus and MiniMax sit on top of the raw models — so you understand what's really going on.
By the end you can
- Explain what an LLM is — and the three ways to use one: chat, API, and agents.
- Compare the big providers — Claude, ChatGPT, and Gemini — on strengths, cost, and privacy.
- Use OpenRouter to reach many models from one account and compare the price per answer.
- Read AI pricing in plain terms (tokens & context) and pick the right model for the job.
- See where agent tools like Manus and MiniMax fit — and when they beat a plain chat.

Prompting that gets results
Learn the patterns that make AI consistently useful, so you get great results on purpose instead of by luck — and can reuse what works.
By the end you can
- Write clear, well-structured prompts.
- Improve a weak prompt instead of starting over.
- Save prompts you'll reuse again and again.
Your first AI tool — without code
Build a reusable AI assistant that handles a task you do every week — set up with your own instructions and examples. No programming required.
By the end you can
- Build a reusable AI assistant for a real task.
- Tell the difference between a one-off chat and a "tool."
- Put it to work in your day-to-day.
Hosting, compute & databases — and your own AI
A plain-English tour of the cloud: what hosting, compute, and a database really are, and how a real AI app is wired together. We compare the two paths beginners actually use — Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Supabase — and demystify "self-hosted AI": the levels from just using claude.ai all the way to running your own model, what each costs, and when it's worth it. No code — dashboards and clear mental models.
By the end you can
- Explain hosting, compute, and databases in plain words — and how an AI app fits together.
- Compare the two main options — AWS and Supabase — and pick the right one for a job.
- Understand what "self-hosted AI" means, your options, and roughly what each costs.
- Put a page or tool somewhere real — a live link — without writing code.
- Read a cloud bill and set spend limits so nothing surprises you.
You'll explore
Safety fundamentals
Learn to work safely — accounts, spending limits, privacy, and what's safe to share with AI — then polish and share the tool you built.
By the end you can
- Use AI safely and avoid surprise bills.
- Protect your accounts, data, and privacy.
- Share a small, working project you made.
Exact themes and pace flex to fit the group — live beats a rigid script.
